Logo Design Competition – Submissions Open
MCA (Music Culture Adelaide) is the next step in the work started by the Save the
Cranker campaign—an advocacy group dedicated to supporting music and culture,
protecting intangible cultural heritage, and ensuring Adelaide’s live music spaces
thrive.
Our fight for the Cranker continues. That mission remains at MCA’s core until the
development is over and we’re all back in the Cranker, business as usual.
But MCA is also growing—standing for the artists, the venues, and the people—
building a future where popular music and culture remain at the heart of this city.
We are launching a Logo Design Competition to shape the visual identity of MCA—and
we’re calling on designers, artists, and creatives to bring their vision to life.
We’re seeking a text-based logo that’s versatile, clear, and adaptable, ready to appear
across digital platforms, print, merchandise, and more—representing popular music,
culture, heritage, and community in Adelaide.
We'd like to thank the team at Lion Art's Factory for their generous donation of a
double pass to one of their shows.
We’ll have some other great prizes up for grabs—stay tuned for details!
Submissions open Friday 28th February 2025 through till Friday 28th March 2025.
Full competition details will be available at SaveTheCranker.com.au
Intellectual Property Rights: By entering, participants agree that the winning design will become the property of Music Culture Adelaide (MCA). MCA will have full rights to use, modify, and reproduce the logo across all platforms and materials.
This is more than a logo—it’s a symbol for Adelaide’s cultural future.
Get ready. Get creating. This is for Adelaide.
